Tamil Nadu CM withdraws general consent given to CBI in panic mode - Annamalai
Tamil Nadu BJP president K Annamalai accused that state CM Stalin has withdrawn the general consent given to CBI in panic mode. And in Rs 200 Crores scam Tamil Nadu CM fully knows that he is in the dock if CBI registers a preliminary inquiry.
Tamil Nadu BJP president K Annamalai says, "...This is very shameful because BJP had given a complaint to the CBI against our CM for a scam in Chennai metro. We have accused the CM of taking Rs 200 Crores from a company, as the then Deputy CM, for awarding the contract in Chennai Metro. Tamil Nadu CM fully knows that he is in the dock if CBI registers a preliminary inquiry. That is why, in panic mode, he has withdrawn the general consent given to CBI. If you have no fear, what is the reason to withdraw the general consent given to CBI?..."
Tamil Nadu Government withdraws general consent given to Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Central agency, CBI should get permission from Tamil Nadu Government to investigate in the state. This has been done already in West Bengal, Rajasthan, Kerala, Mizoram, Punjab and Telangana, says Tamil Nadu Home Department.
